7 Yoga Poses for RA

Yoga poses are beneficial for people with RA.

Experts say yoga may be beneficial for people living with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease that involves inflammation of the joints and can lead to joint deformities. Studies suggest stress can worsen symptoms of autoimmune diseases like RA. Yoga has been shown to decrease stress, and it reportedly can help develop muscle strength, flexibility, and posture – all factors often affecting patients coping with rheumatoid arthritis. Keep these poses in mind if you want to incorporate yoga into your wellness routine. All of them can be done in the comfort of your own home!
